British Premium Meats is renowned amongst chefs for its excellent sourcing of lamb. The Kent Downs with their long tradition of producing excellent quality lamb is just one of the areas in the South BPM source their lamb from. The Company also like to purchase lamb from Oxfordshire, Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire.
All of the lambs procured have been specially selected for their size and leanness. This ensures that the customer obtains the maximum yield, with the minimum waste.
As spring turns to summer, we follow the quality by introducing lamb from other parts of the country, including Wales and Scotland. Imported lamb from around the world can offer customers excellent value for money with a wide
range of cuts that are readily available.
Mutton, with its fuller flavour, is becoming increasingly popular, offering chef's additional variety when writing menus, whilst still being cost effective at the same time.
